We focus on modern, in-demand styles from the past 3–5 years, as well as timeless designer pieces that hold strong resale value.

While we generally don’t accept brands outside our Directory, we may consider other premium labels that align with our audience and aesthetic.

Please note: our selection is based on more than just the label — factors like season, style, condition and market demand also play a role. Please don’t be discouraged if we’re unable to accept some items.

All items must be in excellent condition — freshly laundered or dry cleaned, and free from odour, stains, pilling, damage or major alterations.

Original tags, boxes, dust bags and packaging are encouraged, as they can increase your item’s value and buyer appeal.

Before submitting, please check these areas carefully and note any flaws (if applicable):

• Underarms, neckline and hemlines
• Linings and pockets
• Brand and care tags
• Zips, buttons and embellishments
• Crotch area of pants, jumpsuits and swimwear
• Pulls or snags on delicate fabrics

Please note: items approved digitally are still subject to final inspection once received. Undisclosed faults may result in a small cleaning or repair fee, a revised resale value, or return at the consignor’s expense if unfit for sale.

We currently accept items via:

• Complimentary pick-up within Perth metro area
• Drop-off by appointment at our Mount Pleasant meeting location (6153)
• Australia Post shipping to our parcel locker (address provided after approval)

If posting, please ensure all items and inclusions are securely packaged to prevent damage in transit. The consignor is responsible for postage costs, insurance and any risk during transit until items are received and confirmed by Second Stories.

Consignments are processed in the order they’re received. Once priced, you’ll receive an inventory summary before your items are photographed and listed online.

Larger consignments may be uploaded in stages across multiple drops. Turnaround times vary depending on season and stock volume.

Items are listed for a total of 90 days.

If unsold after 60 days, we may suggest a small price reduction or include your item in a curated sale edit to boost visibility.

After 90 days, you can choose to extend, adjust pricing or arrange collection/return of your item.

We offer some of the highest consignor earnings in Australia, with rates that reward the value of your pieces.

You earn:

• 70% for items under $1,000
• 75% for items $1,000–$1,999
• 80% for items $2,000–$3,999
• 85% for items $4,000–$4,999
• 90% for items $5,000 and above

Items priced under $100 incur a flat $30 fee instead of a percentage commission.

We carefully research every item to ensure fair, accurate and competitive pricing. Each piece is assessed by:

• Age, style and condition
• Original retail value (RRP)
• Brand desirability
• Season and demand
• Current resale trends and market value
• Recent sales data from trusted resale platforms

Our goal is to achieve the best possible return for our consignors while keeping prices realistic for buyers.

If you have a price preference, please include it in your submission form and we’ll take it into account when preparing your quote.

We only accept 100% genuine items.

Some luxury handbags require proof of authenticity before being listed for sale. If an original receipt isn’t available, we’ll arrange verification through Entrupy or Luxury Authentication Australia.

Fees start from $35 per item and are non-refundable. Items that fail authentication will not be listed and will be returned at the consignor’s expense.

Once your item sells, you’ll receive an email confirming the sale details and your commission earnings.

Sales are managed through ConsignCloud, where your balance appears as consignor credit.

Payouts are made weekly on Fridays via bank transfer upon request.

Please only submit items you’re ready to part with, as each listing requires time to research, price, photograph and upload.

If you withdraw an item after pricing, a $30 service fee may apply, plus return postage and any fees already incurred (if applicable).
