Our Authentication Process
Every item we receive is carefully verified, from digital inspection and in-house review to trusted third-party authentication.
With over five years of experience handling designer pieces, we check every stitch, label and material by hand, supported by AI tools for added accuracy. Once approved, each piece is certified by one of our trusted authentication partners before being listed online.
If an item fails authentication or doesn’t meet our standards, it simply doesn’t make the cut.

Our in-house Entrupy device captures microscopic images of each item’s materials, hardware, logos and tags, then compares them against millions of verified examples. Results arrive within minutes, and a digital certificate is passed on with the item for complete peace of mind.

Luxury Authentication Australia (LAA) specialises in authenticating a wider range of designer goods, including shoes, clothing, jewellery, small leather goods, hair accessories and more.
Their authenticators are brand experts with many years of experience in the luxury fashion industry. Each item is carefully inspected and verified against brand-specific standards, materials and manufacturing techniques.
An LAA certificate provides the extra tick of approval that the piece you’ve consigned or purchased is genuine and ready for its next story.

If you’re consigning an item without its original receipt, we offer in-house authentication starting from $35.00 per item. This fee covers a certified verification process using either Entrupy or Luxury Authentication Australia, depending on the category of item.
When your item sells, the certificate of authenticity is transferred to the buyer to ensure full transparency and trust. If it doesn’t sell, the certificate is yours to keep — giving you peace of mind and proof of authenticity for future resale.
