Forget Fast Fashion: Circular Fashion Festival Is Coming to Perth

What if the most exciting thing you wore this season already had a story? What if the future of fashion was about buying better – choosing originality over mass production, craftsmanship over landfill, and creativity over conformity?

This October, Perth will host the Circular Fashion Festival (CFF) – a free two-day event set to reimagine what fashion can look like when sustainability, community and style collide. Taking over Yagan Square on October 10 & 11, 2025, the festival promises runway shows, panel talks, preloved markets and exhibitions – all championing Western Australia’s brightest circular designers and slow-fashion innovators.

A New Era of Australian Fashion Events

In a world overrun with fast fashion, CFF offers something different: a feel-good invitation to shop and dress with intention. With a mindset of progress over perfection, it sparks curiosity and proves that recycled clothing, vintage finds and high-quality pre-loved designer womenswear can be as thrilling as buying new.

Expect an incredible lineup of Perth's finest creatives: vintage gems from @vintage_on_high; ultra-feminine garments hand-made to order by @teaganjacobsstudio; consciously created swimwear by @lsaradesign and @sol_of_eos; plus 36+ local artists and designers who value originality over mass production.

The Circular Fashion Council, led by board and committee members Hazel Law, Heidy Sands, Elsa Durward and Charlie Smith, has poured heart and countless hours into bringing this event to life with support from the WA Government. The result is bold and inclusive: a space where designers, menders and conscious consumers meet to share knowledge, style and joy.

Second Stories on the Runway

We’re honoured that Second Stories Consignment has been invited to join the CFF 'Forget Fast Fashion' runway on Friday 10th October to showcase a selection of our pre-loved luxury pieces.

We’ll be taking stage in six designer looks, featuring some of our favourites from Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Jacquemus, Jimmy Choo, Balenciaga, Valentino, SIR. The Label, Rachel Gilbert and so much more. Each piece has been chosen for its beautiful quality and timeless style, and every item carries with it a second story worth sharing.
